1. Account Security & Access

Troubleshooting login issues, PGP keys, and account bans.

I lost my Password or PIN. Can admin reset it?

Short Answer: No.
Long Answer: Torzon operates on a "Zero-Knowledge" architecture regarding user credentials. We do not store your password or PIN in a readable format. If we could reset your password, it would mean we could also access your account to steal funds, which breaks our security model.

To recover an account, you strictly need your Mnemonic Seed (the 12-word phrase provided during registration).

  • Navigate to the Login Page.
  • Select "Account Recovery".
  • Input your Username and the 12-word Seed.
  • If successful, you will be prompted to set a new Password and PIN.
Critical: If you have lost your Password AND your Mnemonic Seed, your account and any funds inside it are permanently lost. There is no backdoor.
Why is PGP 2FA mandatory for some actions?

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) via PGP is the only way to ensure that the person logging in is the true owner of the account. Passwords can be phished via fake links or stolen via keyloggers. PGP keys are stored on your device and cannot be easily stolen remotely.

How to enable: Go to Settings -> Security -> Enable PGP 2FA. Once enabled, every login attempt will present a PGP-encrypted message that you must decrypt to reveal the verification code.

I was banned. What are the reasons?

Torzon maintains a strict community standard. Accounts are banned for the following infractions:

  1. Phishing/Spamming: Sending links to other markets or external contact methods (Telegram/Wickr) in PMs.
  2. Doxxing: Revealing personal information about a vendor or buyer.
  3. Scamming: Buyers who systematically open disputes on every order (Statistically Impossible Non-Arrival) will be banned to protect vendors.
  4. Prohibited Goods: Attempting to buy/sell Fentanyl, CP, or Weapons.

2. Financial & Cryptocurrency

Bitcoin (BTC) and Monero (XMR) deposit/withdrawal protocols.

My Deposit is missing. Where is it?

This is the most common support ticket. In 99% of cases, the funds are simply waiting for blockchain confirmations. Torzon requires a specific number of confirmations to prevent "double-spend" attacks.

Required Confirmations:

  • Bitcoin (BTC): 2 Confirmations. (Time: 20 mins to 6 hours depending on Mempool).
  • Monero (XMR): 10 Confirmations. (Time: ~20 minutes).
Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Check the Transaction ID (TXID) on a block explorer (e.g., Blockchain.com or XMRChain).
2. If the confirmations are sufficient but the wallet balance is 0, click "Refresh Balance" in your wallet view.
3. If it has been 24 hours with adequate confirmations, open a ticket with the TXID.
Why should I use Monero (XMR) instead of Bitcoin?

Bitcoin is a transparent ledger. Anyone can see the flow of funds from an exchange (like Coinbase) to your market wallet. This "taints" your coins and links your real identity to darknet activity.

Monero (XMR) uses Ring Signatures and Stealth Addresses. It effectively breaks the link between sender and receiver. Torzon highly prioritizes XMR users. In the future, we may move to XMR-only to protect our user base.

I sent crypto to an old deposit address. Can I recover it?

Deposit addresses on Torzon rotate for security and privacy (Address Cycling). However, old addresses remain linked to your account for a "Grace Period" of 7 days.

If you sent funds to an address generated within the last 7 days, the funds will likely credit automatically. If the address is older than 7 days, the private key may have been purged from our hot wallet rotation. Open a support ticket immediately, but be aware that recovery is not guaranteed.

3. Escrow, Disputes & Refunds

Understanding the buyer protection mechanism.

What is Escrow and how does it work?

Escrow is the system that keeps you safe. When you place an order, your coins are moved to a temporary Multi-Sig wallet controlled by the Market.

  • State 1 (Pending): Vendor accepts the order.
  • State 2 (Shipped): Vendor marks as shipped. Funds are still locked.
  • State 3 (Finalized): You receive the item and release funds to the vendor.
  • State 4 (Dispute): You do not receive the item, and a moderator steps in.
Warning: Never click "Finalize" before you have the physical product in your hands. Once finalized, the funds are gone and Support cannot retrieve them.
How do I win a Dispute?

If an order does not arrive, or arrives damaged/incorrect, you must open a Dispute before the Auto-Finalize timer expires. Moderators decide based on evidence and reputation.

To maximize chances of winning:

  1. Communication: Show that you tried to message the vendor to resolve it first.
  2. Stats: If you have a 100% refund rate on previous orders, you will look suspicious. If the vendor has many recent negative reviews, you will likely win.
  3. Photos: For damaged/incorrect goods, clear photos are mandatory.
What is "Finalize Early" (FE) and is it safe?

Finalize Early (FE) means releasing funds to the vendor immediately upon "Marked as Shipped," bypassing escrow protection.

Torzon grants FE privileges only to highly trusted vendors (Level 5+, 1000+ sales). Buying FE listing from a reputable vendor is generally safe, but carries inherent risk. If the vendor exits (Exit Scam), your money is lost. New buyers should stick to Escrow listings.

4. Darknet Glossary

Essential terminology for new users.

OpSec

PGP (Pretty Good Privacy)

An encryption program that provides cryptographic privacy and authentication. Essential for encrypting shipping addresses.

Phishing

The fraudulent practice of sending links pretending to be Torzon to steal login credentials. Always verify the Onion URL.

Tails OS

The Amnesic Incognito Live System. A Linux distribution that preserves privacy and anonymity, forcing all connections through Tor.

Mixing / Tumbling

The process of breaking the link between your crypto source and destination. Not necessary if using Monero (XMR).

DDOS
